Sustran's Connect2 project was voted by you as the worthy winner of The People's 50 million funded through the National Lottery, scooping 42% of the overall votes!

The project will transform 79 communities across the UK, improving local travel through the creation of new walking and cycling routes for everyday journeys.  On a local level, the aim is to create a continous spine route running from the Whitehouse Common/Good Hope Hospital area and south to the Pype Hayes area, taking in Rectory Park, Newhall Valley Country Park and Pype Hayes Park.  Further information about the project will be available in the New Year.  Watch this space!

Sustran's Connect2 is an ambitious UK-wide project that will make it possible for millions of you to make your everyday journeys in a way that is good for your health and our environment.  Connect2 will transform local travel in 79 cities, towns and villages across the UK by creating new walking and cycling routes for the journeys we all make every day.

This project is one of three competing in the Big Lottery Fund's:  The People's £50 Million Contest this December.  Who wins the £50 million will be decided by the people, so we're going to need your vote for Connect2 to make it a reality.  Watch the video below to find out more information about the Connect2 project and details of how you can show your support.
