The SEES website has been nominated to feature as website of the week on the Birmingham Grid for Learning (BGFL) homepage, starting from Monday 10 December through to Sunday 16 December 2007.
The BGFL website is accessed by all schools throughout Birmingham and can be seen around the world on the world wide web! The BGFL is a huge community resource for all learners of all ages.

A carbon footprint is a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide.
Carbon Detectives is an interactive online resource package for KS2 and KS3 pupils to help them investigate the sustainability performance of their own school. Upon registration, schools must identify a team of pupils (possibly School Council) to conduct a series of on-site consultation and audit exercises to calculate the school's CO₂ results and the size of the carbon footprint. The website offers ideas on setting targets to reduce the level of CO₂ and offers comparisons against other schools.
Overall, a great opportunity for young people to contribute positively towards a low carbon future and tackling the issue of climate change.
Sustran's Connect2 is an ambitious UK-wide project that will make it possible for millions of you to make your everyday journeys in a way that is good for your health and our environment. Connect2 will transform local travel in 79 cities, towns and villages across the UK by creating new walking and cycling routes for the journeys we all make every day.
This project is one of three competing in the Big Lottery Fund's: The People's £50 Million Contest this December.
